Kia ora, my name is Belinda.

I am a trained early childhood teacher and primary  teacher with special needs experience. I have always aspired to owning a very unique and special preschool and am thrilled that there are now three Pebbles Preschools in the Christchurch area! I moved from England to Christchurch in 2000 with my husband and two children, Sam and Daisy. I enjoy being on the teaching floor, walking my labradoodle dogs, reading and swimming.

Kia ora, my name is Angela.

I am an early childhood, primary and montessori trained teacher. I have a passion for early childhood and truly value a naturalistic environment and a philosophy based on respect for our young generation. I have an adorable one year old son, who is teaching me new things every day. I am very fortunate to be part of the Pebbles team again and look forward to meeting you, your child and whanau.

Kia ora, my name is Michelle.

I have worked as a preschool teacher since 2011 after gaining a Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about teaching children based on a culture of respect, and love learning alongside them.

I have lived in Christchurch my whole life and am excited to be joining the Pebbles team and being so close to the beach!

Outside of early childhood I enjoy live music, travelling, getting outside in the sunshine and spending time with my friends, family.

Kia ora, my name is Megan

I am very excited to be officially joining the lovely pebbles team after working as a relief teacher for just under 1 year. I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work across all the Pebbles centres with all the different age groups and it has been rewarding getting to know all the staff and children.

I grew up in Nottingham, England and moved to New Zealand in 2015. I completed my Degree in Three Dimension Design at Manchester School of Art specalising in the designing and making of tactile jewellery, something I continue to do in my spare time.

Kia Ora Whanau, my name is Megan and I am the new teacher in the Tui Room.

5 fun facts about me:

I am the fourth generation of Kerr’s to be raised in Sumner,

When I left school I joined the New Zealand Army

I am a Mum of three – Brooklyn (13), Nico (10) & Anika-Grace (7) & a wife to my lucky husband Rich,

I have a Bachelor of Education majoring in Physical Education and Health from the University of Canterbury,

Being by the beach and taking the time to enjoy our backyard is my favourite hobby. 

I feel truly blessed to be able to teach our next generation of tamariki here at Pebbles and I look forward to getting to know each family over the next 6 months.

Kia ora, my name is Kristi.. 
I am a trained early childhood and Montessori teacher with 23 years experience in teaching, management and tertiary education. 
At the heart of my philosophy continues to be my commitment to responsive relationships with children, families and the teaching team, coupled with providing rich learning experiences for ākonga.  Our goal is to foster an intrinsic natural desire where children develop a quest for knowledge and a love of learning. 
 I am married with two children, Ella and Harry. We have two Bichon Poodles and an adorable kitten. I look forward to sharing this exciting journey at Pebbles with you and your child.

Kia Ora, my Name is Brydie. I have a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning Early Childhood Education which I gained while living in Auckland in 2015.

I have had four years of experience teaching in Early childhood and love spending time with my family friends. I have a passion for working with children of all ages, and I am excited to now be a part of the Pebbles team.

Kia Ora my name is Kelly.

I have been teaching in The Early Childhood sector for over 16 years and I have a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning ECE. I enjoy working here at Pebbles and it has been a pleasure getting to know all of the families and watching the children grown and develop. I live with my husband Cliff and my two children Lucas and Katie. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family mountain biking, skiing and going on 4WD trips in our Jeep.

I am a trained primary and montessori teacher and am passionate about the Montessori philosophy. My strengths are in supporting and extending children with their learning and actively ensuring the transition to school is a positive and successful experience for everyone. I live in Sumner with my husband and two children, andI  enjoy stand up paddle boarding, camping and being part of our special  community.

Kia ora, my name is Hannah.

I moved to NZ in 2006 with my parents & younger brothers from Nottingham, England. I have a Diploma of Teaching ECE and was awarded a special award for “Professional Expertise with Infants & Toddlers.” I especially enjoy working with the younger children and love being in the Pukeko Nursery at Pebbles. I live in Heathcote with my partner, Mark, and his son Connor at the weekends.

I am thrilled to have joined the Pebbles Preschool family. I have completed my Diploma of Teaching, ECE at the New Zealand Early Childhood College of Education. I live with my husband in Somerfield and am enthusiastic about getting outside, surfing, camping and painting. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all the families here at Pebbles.

Kia Ora my name is Jodie.

I am a passionate Montessori and early childhood teacher and have enjoyed being part of both Pebbles Montessori and Pebbles Preschool. I enjoy music, art and crafts, always on the look out for ideas and activities to bring into the classroom.  I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I graduated in 2004 with a Diploma of Teaching ECE and attained the Aperfield Trust Diploma in Montessori Education in 2007.

Hi, my name is Anna Mackinnon.

I have enjoyed being a part of Pebbles Preschool when it opened in 2010. I live in Sumner with my husband and 2 children Marcel and Skye. I have worked in Early Childhood Education for over 20 years. Privately as a nanny for 15 years and as a part time teacher at Pebbles. I hold a Foundation Certificate of Teaching ECE.

Kia Ora Koutou, my name is Katherine.

I have been teaching in Early Childhood Centres for over twenty years. I have a Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. I have loved teaching at Pebbles since it opened in 2010 and have especially enjoyed watching the children develop over the years and seeing their siblings coming along - this is very special. I live in Sumner with my husband and have three daughters Annie, Molly and Katie. In my spare time I enjoy walking, gardening, reading and Pilates.

Kia ora my name is Melinda Wong but am known as Mindy.

I am a teacher in the Tui room at Pebbles. I have Bachelors degree in early childhood and have eight years of teaching experience.  I grew up in Sumner and it is great being apart of this special community as an adult. Outside of work I enjoy good food, spending time with family and friends, swimming and enjoying the beautiful walking tracks around Christchurch.
